Tretorn is on Point in Soho
I shot Tretorn‘s new store for them this past weekend. The Swedish company just opened up shop on Spring St. in Soho. Love the store. Definitely going to be a big brand this summer in New York. Half my friends are already rockin’ the simple easy to wear shoes and sandals. The company’s shoes are a great example of beautifully simple Scandinavian design. PUMA iCycle Pedals On
Many months ago I did a studio shoot for PUMA’s massive refrigerator-on-wheels. They call this cool contraption the iCycle and used it to cruise around the city giving away Popsicles and promoting PUMA. Check their new site about the iCycle, bike recycling and other bike movements. Pedal forward!

Crossing the Noise Barrier
You know, digital noise use to bother me a lot. I was a film grain purist … and I still really love the look and feel of a grainy, black and white, high-iso photograph printed on some juicy fiber paper. I have yet to see any digital interpretation of this that looks as good. Lately, though, I have come to appreciate messy, high iso, noisy digital shots. I think if they are done right, the messiness can add to the mood of these images. Check below as I capture Simone crossing the noise barrier
